The thesis was initially published in Japanese in 2010, funded by Philosophy of Science Society Japan Ishimoto Foundation. The present book is an
English translation of the Japanese book version of my thesis. The translation was done by Dr. Yu Izumi at Kyoto University. The publication of this book is supported by the Grants-in-Aid for Scientific Research from Japan Society for the Promotion of Science.
